The company ENGERIS — Engenharia, Comércio e Prestação de Serviços, LDA. ("ENGERIS", "we"), headquartered in Luanda, Angola, NIF 5002838141, is the controller responsible for processing your personal data. This policy explains what personal data we collect, what we use it for and what your rights are when you use our website and platform.
We process your personal data in compliance with Law no. 22/11, of 17 June (Personal Data Protection Law), Law no. 23/11, of 20 June (Electronic Communications and Information Society Services) and the right to privacy of private life enshrined in Article 32 of the Constitution of the Republic of Angola.
1. Data we collect
- Contact data you provide in forms, quotation requests, training registrations or the virtual assistant: name, email, phone, company and the message/request.
- Client data, when you access the portal: information relating to your projects, proposals, invoices, work orders and visits.
- Browsing data: technical information collected by cookies (see our Cookie Policy).
2. How we use the data
- Respond to contact requests, quotations and technical visits.
- Provide and manage our services and the client portal.
- Send service-related communications (e.g. invoice or visit reminders).
- Improve the website, services and security.
- Comply with legal and contractual obligations.
Under Law no. 22/11, processing is based on your consent (freely given, specific and informed), the performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps at your request, compliance with legal obligations to which ENGERIS is subject, or legitimate interests compatible with your rights. Where processing depends solely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing already carried out.
3. Virtual assistant (ÍRIS)
Our virtual assistant processes the messages you send it in order to generate responses. To this end, the content of the conversation may be processed by artificial intelligence technology providers on our behalf, subject to confidentiality obligations. Do not share sensitive data (passwords, full bank details, identification documents) through the chat. Contact requests made through the assistant are recorded so that our team can respond to you.
4. Sharing with third parties
We do not sell your data. We may share it only with providers that help us operate (for example, email, messaging, hosting and artificial intelligence services), to the extent necessary and with confidentiality safeguards, or where required by law.
5. Retention
We retain data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described or to comply with legal obligations. When it is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised.
6. Security
We apply technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption of sensitive credentials, access control and secure connection (HTTPS). No system is 100% infallible, but we work continuously to reduce risks.
7. Your rights
Under Law no. 22/11, you have the rights of information, access, rectification, updating, erasure and objection regarding the processing of your personal data, as well as the right to withdraw consents previously given.
